■WHO WE ARE

WHO BUILDS YOUR SAUDI SOFTWARE, AND FROM WHERE?

Vision 2030 has moved much of Saudi commerce and public services onto phones, and customers now judge a new product against what they use daily: Arabic by default, a mada or Apple Pay checkout, an instalment option at the basket, and an invoice that satisfies ZATCA. RTechnologies is a software development company for Saudi Arabia in that practical sense. We have no office or entity in the Kingdom; we are a small in-house team in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, on the Islamabad border, building for the Saudi market remotely.

Saudi projects tend to sit where local rules meet software. A Riyadh retailer needs mada checkout with Tabby or Tamara instalments. A Jeddah logistics operator wants a driver app and dispatch dashboard that work equally well in Arabic and English. A clinic group in Al Khobar needs patient records handled under the Personal Data Protection Law. A Dammam distributor needs e-invoices that integrate with ZATCA's FATOORA platform. We scope each in writing — regulations and payment providers included — before any money changes hands.

Pakistan runs on UTC+5 and the Kingdom on UTC+3 with no daylight saving, so our 09:00–18:00 day is your 07:00–16:00. Saudi Arabia is also the largest destination for Pakistani workers abroad, so a project chat mixing Arabic, English and Urdu will feel familiar to many Saudi teams.

■WHY RTECHNOLOGIES

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH US FROM RIYADH?

01

Built in Arabic, not translated into it

We design the right-to-left layout first instead of flipping an English design at the end. Arabic interface copy is reviewed by a native Arabic speaker before launch, arranged per project.

02

Saudi regulations scoped up front

PDPL obligations, your ZATCA phase and any sector hosting rule are listed in the written scope, so compliance is priced up front, not discovered at launch.

03

Four full shared days a week

Your Sunday–Thursday week and our Monday–Friday week overlap from Monday to Thursday. Demos happen then; Sunday and Friday get written updates.

04

Senior engineers, fixed milestones

The engineers in your weekly demo write the code. Each milestone has a fixed price, and scope changes are quoted in writing first.

WORKING WITH US REMOTELY

The questions worth settling before you sign.

Time zones & working week
Saudi Arabia is UTC+3 all year; we are UTC+5. Our 09:00–18:00 PKT is 07:00–16:00 in Riyadh. You work Sunday–Thursday, we work Monday–Friday: Monday–Thursday overlap fully, Sunday is our weekend and Friday yours.
Language & RTL
Arabic-first, right-to-left interfaces with an English switch. Arabic interface copy is reviewed by a native Arabic speaker before launch, arranged per project.
Payments
mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and STC Bank (formerly STC Pay) via gateways such as Moyasar, HyperPay or PayTabs, plus Tabby and Tamara. Merchant accounts are opened in your company's name.
Data protection
The PDPL, now enforced by SDAIA after its compliance grace period, covers personal data of people in the Kingdom wherever it is processed. We check sector hosting rules before choosing a cloud region.
E-invoicing
ZATCA Phase 1 requires QR codes on simplified tax invoices; Phase 2 connects billing systems to FATOORA in turnover-based waves. We build to your current phase and the next wave.
Contracts & billing
Fixed price per milestone in a written English contract. Invoiced in USD by international bank transfer; local-currency pricing on request.
Ownership
Source code, domains, cloud, app-store and gateway accounts in your company's name from day one.
After launch
Optional monthly support: security patches, gateway and ZATCA specification updates, monitoring and small changes.

■FAQ / SAUDI ARABIA

WHAT DO CLIENTS ASK BEFORE STARTING?

Q01Do you have an office in Saudi Arabia?

No. RTechnologies has one office, in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and no registered entity, staff or address in the Kingdom. Saudi projects run remotely through weekly video demos, a shared task board and a direct chat with the engineers. Our day starts at 07:00 Riyadh time.

Q02Can you build an Arabic app that works properly right-to-left?

Yes. We design the Arabic layout first — navigation, icons, charts and forms mirrored correctly — and treat English as the second language, not the reverse. Fonts are chosen for Arabic legibility on small screens, and Arabic interface copy is reviewed by a native Arabic speaker before launch, arranged per project.

Q03Which Saudi payment methods can you integrate?

We build checkouts that accept mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and STC Bank (formerly STC Pay) through gateways such as Moyasar, HyperPay or PayTabs, and add Tabby or Tamara instalments where basket sizes suit them. Your company opens the merchant accounts; we handle integration, sandbox testing, refunds and go-live.

Q04Can your software handle ZATCA e-invoicing?

Yes. We build invoicing that meets Phase 1 — QR codes on simplified tax invoices — and Phase 2, where your system generates XML e-invoices and connects to ZATCA's FATOORA platform for clearance or reporting. Phase 2 arrives in turnover-based waves, so we confirm your wave and deadline first.

Q05How do you handle Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law?

The PDPL is now fully enforceable, after a compliance grace period, and is overseen by SDAIA. We map the personal data your product collects, then build consent capture, Arabic and English privacy notices, deletion requests and audit logs. Where your sector expects data kept in the Kingdom, we use a Saudi cloud region. Your legal adviser confirms the obligations.

Q06How do the time zones and weekends work between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia is UTC+3 all year and Pakistan UTC+5, so we are two hours ahead: our 09:00–18:00 is 07:00–16:00 in Riyadh. You work Sunday to Thursday and we work Monday to Friday, so Monday to Thursday overlap fully. Sunday messages are answered on Monday; urgent Sunday cover can be agreed in a support plan.

Q07How are Saudi projects priced and paid?

Every project gets a written scope with a fixed price per milestone, invoiced in USD by international bank transfer; local-currency pricing on request. A bilingual brochure site and a multi-gateway marketplace cost very different amounts, so we quote after a free consultation. Our guide to developer rates in Pakistan explains typical offshore pricing.
